Summary Police officials have not been provided shoes for last several years in Karachi.
The police department provides same uniform and shoes to the police officials to maintain uniformity but the police officials have not been issued official shoes for several years.Due to which, the policemen are compelled to perform their duties wearing common shoes.According to the officials, they submitted the application for issuance of the shoes two years ago, but their demand has not been met as yet.Only few hundred out of thousands policemen have official shoes and uniforms matching the same colour.
