Summary Multan transporters increased fares even before new CNG closure schedule gets in force.
The transporters in Multan have increased fares of buses, mini-buses and coasters up to Rs 40 for different cities.The fare for Bahawalpur has been increased from Rs 150 to Rs 180, for Taunsa from Rs 200 to Rs 240, while the fare for Faisalabad has been increased from Rs 370 to Rs 400.The citizens have strongly protested the increase in fares by the transporters, whereas the transporters are of the view that they have increased the fares as they have to run the vehicles on petrol.
