Summary Railway assistant driver Mohammad Khans daughter died when the roof of the house caved in.
Striking staff stopped nine trains at Rohri and other suburban stations. The administration managed to send one train through the retired employees. Two other persons were also injured in the incident. The loco running staff went on strike in protest against the incident. Karachi Night Coach, Allama Iqbal Express, Sukker Express and Jafar Express were stopped. SP Railway has refused to register a case against divisional and assistant engineer for the death of the girl.
