Summary Brick kiln owners and workers have announced that the protest will continue till July 8.
The protest of kiln owners and workers in Faisalabad and Multan along with other parts of the country has entered second day.The protest started on the call of All Pakistan Bhata Association against the imposition of 100 per cent sales tax. The kiln owners have termed the imposition of sales tax as economic exploitation and said that it was badly affecting construction industry.The leaders of the association have vowed to continue their protest until the removal of sales tax.Meanwhile, owners in Multan have announced to shut down kilns till July 8.
