Summary Two people were killed and 16 injured in rain and windstorm-related accidents in Faisalabad.
Many trees were uprooted by the storm that started around 11am. Electric wires and billboards were also carried away by the winds. The rain lasted for an hour and created widespread damage.One man died as roof of his house on Jaranwala road caved in. A hapless motorcyclist was killed when an electric poll fell on him. Rescue 1122 said 16 people have been reported injured in rain-related accidents.
