Summary Two people were shot dead and another was injured in different parts of Karachi.
According to reports, two groups exchanged fire in Khada Market area of Liyari, killing 24-year-old Imran Panwar and injuring 32-year-old Rafiq. Panic spread in the area the incident and large contingents of police and rangers were deployed in the area. In another firing incident near Baghdadi Police Station, some unidentified miscreants killed 27-year-old Waqas.Meanwhile, police have arrested Huma and Shahzad Mughal, wanted in various cases of car-snatching, from Boat Basin area after an encounter and recovered four vehicles, number plates and arms from their possession. According to police, the accused are part of an inter-provincial car lifters gang.
