Summary Two passenger carriages of Railways were burnt down at Multan Cantonment Railway station on Sunday.
The fire erupted in railway yard that engulfed the carriages. Two of the carriages were reduced to ashes while another was partially damaged.The roof of the yard also collapsed due to the intensity of the fire. The rescue 1122 and city fire brigade manage to control the fire after two hours.The Pakistan Railways deputy superintendent reached the site after two hours and refused to comment on the incident.
