Resident of Nankana Sahib, Ghulam Rasool and his wife Nasreen came to the Children’s Hospital for the treatment of their only 5-month-old baby Abdul Rehman. After initial examination, the doctors admitted the baby to the hospital. During this time an unidentified woman approached the Nasreen and told her that she would get her baby checked from a more experienced doctor and took the baby.The hospital administration pinned the blame on the parents of the children stating that they should look after their children themselves. Naseerabad police filed a kidnapping report against the unidentified woman. This though is not the first case of kidnapping at Children’s Hospital as last year a three year old girl, who has still not been recovered, was kidnapped in a similar manner from the hospital.
