Summary A man attempted self-immolation on Saturday outside the office of tehsildar in Gujrat.
A resident of Moeenuddin Pur, Aleem Shah said that a dispute over his 11 canals and 11 marlas land was not resolved by any one, even after giving money to ‘patwaris’. He also approached Gujrat DCO Nawazish Ali but all in vain.Aleem said that he told the tehsildar that he would set himself on fire if the dispute wasn’t resolved, but the tehsildar didn’t pay heed to his warning. Aleem, after losing hope, attempted self-immolation. He was shifted to hospital in critical condition.
