Summary The electricity shortfall has increased from 600 to 730 megawatt with load shedding up to 18 hours.
According to Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO), gas supply to two power houses, Habibullah Coastal Power Plant and Sheikh Manda Power House had been suspended for the past three days. As a result, the shortfall increased from 600 to 730 megawatts.According to the administration, there is a 4-6 hour load shedding in Quetta city whereas in the district headquarters and rural areas it is up to 16-18 hours.
