Ameen shot and injured Noor Muhammad in a brawl after a road accident, in the North Karachi Industrial Area police precincts. The locals who gathered at the scene of the accident caught and thrashed Ameen.When the police arrived, rather than taking the injured victim, they took Ameen to the hospital from where he escaped. Unaware of his whereabouts, the police said that they did not know Ameen was involved in the shooting.
