Summary MCPA staged a demonstration protest against the imposition of flood and sales taxes.
Multan Crops Protection Association (MCPA) held a protest at at Muzarargarh Bypass and blocked the road for two hours. The protesters urged the government to withdraw the taxes. They said that high inflation was affecting the nation and the imposition of new taxes would increase problems for them. They said that textile industry and agriculture sector would be exempted from new taxes.
