Summary As many as 27 couples were wed in a ceremony that was held at Jokhio Goth.
The mass matrimony was hosted by a local social worker, Raza Mehmood Jokhio. Many youngsters performed their traditional dance on the occasion. Renowned social worker, Abdul Sattar Edhi was also present in the ceremony. He congratulated the couples and offered his well wishes. Edhi said that helping humanity by wedding the poor is a very good deed. The locals said that the mass matrimony was a tradition which had been going on for decades.
