Summary The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday sought an explanation on crackdown against shisha smoking.
Cafés owners filed a petition in the LHC stating that the Lahore police launched a crackdown against shisha smoking in Lahore last week. They said that the police operation was unnecessary and it damaged their business. The café owners asked the court to call an explanation from the police for the action. The LHC summoned Lahore Capital City Police Officer Aslam Tareen to explain the matter.
