Summary Two dacoits were killed in an encounter with police near Khangah Dogran.
According to police, the dacoits were fleeing after snatching a car from Lahore-Sargodha and were intercepted at a check post near Khangah Dogran. The dacoits opened fire at the police party and retaliation two of the dacoits, Naqash alias Kashi and Shahzad, were killed while the third was injured.According to DPO Sheikhupura, Dr Haider Ashraf, all the dacoits were wanted by Punjab police in kidnapping for ransom and other crime.
