Summary Court sentenced two accused of throwing acid on girls to 70 years in prison.
Court also ordered to impose heavy fine worth Rs 8 million on each.According to prosecution, accused Kashif in connivance with his aide threw acid on two real sisters Nida and Farah and others who used to work in a textile factory.The affected girls were shifted to the Allied Hospital where they had been treated for a week.The accused were put on trial in Anti Terrorism Court which, after reviewing statements and evidence, awarded 70 years imprisonment and fine worth Rs 8 million for each.
