KARACHI (Web Desk) - The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has started preparations for Hajj 2027, with registration expected to begin soon in line with Saudi guidelines.
According to the ministry, the registration process for prospective pilgrims will be completed in due course. Officials said that a valid Pakistani passport with expiry at least until November 16, 2027, will be mandatory for registration.
Registered applicants will have the option to participate in either the government or private Hajj schemes, the ministry added.
It further stated that overseas Pakistanis will also be eligible to register for Hajj 2027.
Officials clarified that no registration fee has been set at this stage, while details regarding Hajj packages, costs, and other terms and conditions will be announced later under the Hajj Policy 2027.
