RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has approved the request for exemption from appearance of Aleema Khan in the November 26 protest case.

The case related to the November 26 protest, registered at Sadiqabad Police Station, was heard by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah. During the proceedings, the court reviewed the progress of the case.

The court accepted Aleema Khan’s plea for exemption from appearance and adjourned the hearing until May 11.

During the hearing, the court also issued orders to present all witnesses, including the sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, at the next hearing so that further proceedings in the case could be advanced.
