LED lights issue: ADB to judge transparency of project

According to ADB authorities, transparency of the project would be judged before approval of the loan.Following the Planning Commission, the Asian Development Bank authorities also contacted Dunya News and requested for the relevant documents regarding mismanagement in LED lights project.According to ADP’s email to Dunya News, the bank will evaluate the project thoroughly before issuance of loan. The mail further said that the loan will be issued after satisfactory report of the bank’s credit team and board of governors regarding the transparency of the project.According to Asian Development, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has requested for loan of LED lights project but the decision has not been taken so far in this regard.
