Summary Khurshid Shah said that Ministry of Religious Affairs has started preparing new Hajj policy 2012.
Addressing the training workshop regarding Hajj, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Khurshid Shah said that the new Hajj policy would be prepared in consultation with all the stakeholders and it would be sent to the Cabinet for approval.Shah said that some important steps have been suggested in new Hajj policy for provision of facilities to the pilgrims. The government is trying its best to provide facilities of better transport and residences near to the Haram.He said that his ministry would hand over some amount to the PIA in advance; so that national airlines may have better arrangements.
