PPP men meet Q chief to ensure votes

The delegation visits the head of the PML-Q, an allied party in the coalition government, at a time when the PML-N has decided to file a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Gilani.The PPP delegation comprises Khusheed Shah, Naveed Qamar, Nazar Muhammad Gondal and Raja Pervez Ashraf. Sources said the PPP leaders would seek assurance from the PML-Q chief that his party would help the PM through the no-trust vote.Ch Shujaat earlier said people should stay indoors and not stage demos as it is too cold on streets.Talking to media, Ch Shujaat Hussain, the PML-Q chief and ally of the PPP government, said that all stakeholders would have to decide issues amicably.
