Police refuse case filing against Mansoor Ijaz

Addition Session Judge Syed Wajahat Hussain heard the petition regarding FIR against Pakistan-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz who is involved in controversial memogate scandal.According to sources, police submitted a reply in the court saying that case cannot be registered against Mansoor Ijaz under the decision of judicial commission and Supreme Court or commission’s permission is required for the case registration.Lawyer Israr Abbasi, counsel of petitioner argued that a request has also been submitted to the judicial commission probing memo scam, therefore, hearing should be adjourned till commission’s final decision.The court has adjourned case hearing until January 17.
