Govt employees to declare their assets

The cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday. The cabinet decided that all the government employees will have to declare their assets like parliamentarians. The Energy Committee of the cabinet briefed the meeting over gas and electricity crises, prevailing in the country.The Federal cabinet has also applauded Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry’s remarks regarding military courts.t is to mention here that, the CJ had, during the hearing of Bhutto reference, remarked that path to military courts had been closed in the country and nobody should have misconception in this regard.PML-N Nawaz Sharif had said that he would set military courts in Karachi to maintain law and order if needed.
