Summary PM Gilani has once again ordered an end to unannounced loadshedding in country.
The announcement was made at a meeting of, chaired by the PM in Islamabad, to address energy issues. The PM ordered that unannounced loadshedding should be ended while supply of oil to power plants must be ensured.The meeting also reviewed the effects of canals closure for desilting. The PM ordered the Energy Committee led by Finance Minister Hafeez Sheikh to minimize loadshedding while optimizing power production.PM Gilani also ordered making functional all thermal power plants, while ensuring uninterrupted supply of oil to power plants. The PM ordered all state departments and companies to pay off their outstanding bills.
