Argentine Embassy is trying to build cultural bridge between both the countries.He was speaking at the painting exhibition “Transgressions and Deviations of Les Fleurs du Mal” by the Argentine Painter Ricardo Cinalli.He said that that he is rreally pleased to be to exhibit in Pakistan the work of this great and well-known argentine artist. It is one more effort done by the Argentine Embassy to build cultural bridges between Argentina and Pakistan, he said. He also remarked that the event accompanies the celebrations of the 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between both countries during the current year.On the occasion, Principal Atchison College Lahore, Dr. Faqir Ijaz-ud-Din and famous architect Nayyar Ali Dada were also present.High rank local authorities, art lovers, journalists, students and personalities from all walks of life attended the event that took place in the prestigious mentioned College. It was the second art exhibition organized by the Argentine Embassy in Lahore during the current year.The painter Cinalli, who is visiting Pakistan for the first time, referred to his work presented in the exhibition. He explained that to have a nightmare you need to dream. Nightmares are those dreams that allow us to visit the goodness and the ugliness, the improbable.In these line-drawings, the artist intends to reflect not only some elements of cubism, but also contemplation, togetherness, fantasies and the magical possibility of beauty in a background of entire disorder.This exhibition had been already inaugurated in Islamabad last week in the presence of Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar.
