Summary MQM would contact other political parties for establishment of new province in the country.
Deputy Parliamentary Leader of MQM Syed Haider Abbas Rizvi said this during a meeting with newly elected body of National Press Club here on Thursday.He said that neither the democratic system has any threat from armed forces nor army is interested in takeover.“In the past MQM raised voice against the sugar mafia and now we have some apprehensions on the proposed increase in natural gas tariff as it would be as par with dropping bomb on the people”, he added by saying that the storm of price hike is taking place in the country due to which the common man is being grinding.Haider Rizvi said that MQM has submitted two separate motions in the parliament regarding creation of new provinces and the party would make contact with entire political forces of the country on the issue. He said that making of new federating units would help in providing relief to the people as well as diminish the feudalism.He said that during 2011 the government committed many mistakes. Many questions were also raised regarding security of the country. He said that Parliamentary Committee on National Security is making new rules for relations with the US and NATO.He said on one side the industry is going to shut down due to scarcity of gas whereas on the other hand the increase in its tariff is on the cards of the government. He said that the price of natural gas present in the country in international market is Rs 1400 billion , whereas gas worth of only Rs 400 billion is being distributed to the people where no one know about the sale accounts of gas cost of Rs 1000 billion.He said that MQM would continue its support for the stability of the democratic process.He conveyed his facilitations to the newly elected body of National Press Club and hoped that it would work for the welfare of the journalists.
