Summary Parliamentary Committee for National Security has received Pak-US written pacts in war on terror.

The meeting of PCNS was held with Senator Raza Rabbani in the chair. The issues relating to Pak-US relations and NATO attack on the Pakistani check posts were discussed in the meeting.After the session, Senator Raza Rabbani told the media that the Secretary Defence has informed the committee that nine written agreements were made between Pakistan and the United States in the war on terror and he presented these agreements before the committee.Rabbani said that the committee has also received recommendations from the envoys’ conference which are being reviewed. Rabbani said that the committee wants to submit its report in the parliament as soon as possible because of sensitivity of the matter in national interest.Senator Rabbani assured that the committee is trying to prepare comprehensive recommendations very carefully.He announced that next session of the committee will be held on December 30 in which officials of the Finance Ministry will be called in order to look into financial aspects of the Pak-US relations.
