Summary Sindh High Court has directed Sindh government to announce judgment after hearing Afaqs counsel.

The MQM-H moved a writ petition against house arrest of its chief Afaq Ahmad by provincial government under Maintenance of Public Order (MPO).A two-member division bench of Sindh High Court comprising Justice Mushir Alam and Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar conducted hearing of the writ petition moved against house arrest of Afaq Ahmad.Sindh Advocate General Abdul Fattah, while submitting his reply on the part of Sindh government, said that Afaq Ahmad has been arrested under 16 MPO after receiving secret information. The AG said that Afaq Ahmad is happy as well as secure in jail.The court has order to refer the application to the Home Secretary with the direction to announce its judgment within three days; otherwise, the court would announce its judgment on December 16.
