Summary Nurses from across Punjab continued their protest on the second day for raise in their salaries.
Closing all the indoor and outdoor services, a large number of nurses reached the Lahore Press Club and held a protest demonstration. Later they also protest in front of CM House in Model Town.Likewise, nurses of all the hospitals in Faisalabad also observed strike and raised voice for raise in salaries. Allied Hospital, DHQ Hospital, Cardiology Centre and General Hospital also participated in the campaign launched for demands of nurses. The staff of Ghulam Muhammad Abad also boycotted the routine services and observed a sit-in.Strike of nurses entered 10th day in Multan where affected nurses took out a rally and protested before the MS office. Police tried to halt nurses but they reached the main gate after breaking all the barriers and shouted slogans against establishment for exploiting their rights.In the same way, nurses from Holy Family Hospital, Benazir Shaheed and DHQ Hospital held complete strike and protest at the Murree Road. Young doctors also took part in the rally.
