Govt bound to implement SCs NRO decision: Experts

PPP leader Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has said the government is bound to implement Supreme Court (SC) verdict in NRO review petition. He said the President enjoys immunity from court’s proceedings under article 248 of the constitution.“Governments had delayed the process of implementation of verdicts in certain cases but now the judgment has come and government is bound to enforce it. President however enjoys immunity from court’s proceedings under article 248 of the constitution”, he said this while talking to media men here in Supreme Court Friday.He went on to say all the decisions of SC would now be implemented. No tense should situation should prevail among institutions as it causes harm to them, he stressed.If government writes letter to Swiss courts then we have to see what strategy is pursued by them, he remarked.It was not known why Babar Awan wanted to present these documents, however, it had now become public document, he observed.
