Haqqani resigned under Army's pressure: Ch Nisar

Opposition leader in National Assembly Ch Nisar Ali Khan said that Hussain Haqqani has been forced to resign from his office under Army pressure. The related institutions have also banned his travelling abroad.Addressing at National Assembly floor, Ch Nisar said that if the issue of memo is fake and fabricated, then why Hussain Haqqani resigned. The memo issue is very severe and serious, he said; adding that if former ambassador was involved in the scandal, how the rulers can prove their transparency, he added.He said that the issue of memo was being discussed everywhere but not in the National Assembly. Chaudhry Nisar said that Prime Minister is answerable parliament not to General Kayani or DG ISI.
