Gilani assures high level probe into memo issue

Talking to media in Islamabad, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that a great debate had started regarding national security that’s why Hussain Haqqani resigned from his ambassadorial office. Also, a transparent and impartial investigation was not possible in his presence, he added.Denying any threat to current government, Gilani said that election would be held in time and government will complete its tenure.However, he admitted that it is not easy to continue democracy and criticized opposition for not realizing the situation.
