Memo-gate: Qureshi questions blaming only Haqqani

All the responsible persons should be brought to justice after conducting transparent investigation, the ex-foreign minister said.While addressing a Peace Conference in Lahore, he said that the current circumstances of Pakistan are not much different from those of the 1971.He appealed to Nawaz Sharif to ask his party MPs to resign from the National Assembly en masse to practically launch a campaign against the corrupt rulers. Religious scholars and leaders should also play their role in this regard, he said.Addressing the conference, former Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Pakistan Qazi Hussain Ahmad said that achievement of goal is impossible without political power.On the occasion, a joint announcement was also made according to which, “Nobody would declare any school of thought as pagan or blasphemous.”
