Only Zardari behind Memo issue: Imran Khan

Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has called for constitution of a judicial commission to probe into memo controversy alleging President Asif Ali Zardari is the only responsible for memo issue.Memogate scandal should be investigated upto higher level. If it is true then it is treason against the state. Resignation of Hussain Haqqani is a correct step. President Asif Ali Zardari is the person who is really responsible for this issue. Constitution of commission by the government in this connection is purposeless.A commission comprising Supreme Court judges should be formed to probe into this matter, PTI chairman said this while talking to media men at Lahore airport Wednesday on his return from London.“Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari both are brothers and both are tax evaders, he underlined. Their wealth is lying in off shore accounts,” he charged. Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari and Shujaat Hussain are scared of PTI Tsunami, he remarked. Scandals have come to open against Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, he said. Both should have approached courts in this respect to seek investigation into these scandals, he added.He alleged that Nawaz Sharif had broken all the records of lying. Nawaz Sharif had increased his factories from 1 to 27, he said. The Sharifs are by product of establishment. They have been brought up in the nursery of establishment and are now living in Raiwind palace, he charged.He said Nawaz Sharif had obtained Rs 3.5 million from ISI and the case was pending hearing in the court. Supreme Court should hear this case so that people could come to know who had got money up to what extent. Nawaz Sharif should quit the politics now. PTI Karachi public meeting on December, 25 will make it clear upon the masses what is difference between state sponsored meeting and public meeting, he underlined.My wife came to Pakistan with her family and PML-N unleashed mudslinging campaign against her that she had come here in connection with my public meetings. PML-N also charged her with working for Jewish lobby despite the fact that her family is Christian, he maintained.To a question he said Imran Khan feels no need to hide anything”. These people fall on the feet of Americans in US and boast when they go to public “, he held.Military option was no solution to terrorism, he said adding the whole world has acknowledged that dialogue is only option to address the issue of terrorism. US are fighting in Afghanistan since the last 10 years but no solution to this problem has been evolved. Therefore, Afghan issue could be resolved through talks, he stressed.
