Summary KESC disconnected power supply to Pakistan Steel Mills for nonpayment.
According to Karachi Electric Supply Company’s officials, the Pakistan Steel Mills is defaulter of Rs 50 million. Despite issuance of notices many times, the bills have not been paid yet.Last month, the power to the Pakistan Steel Mills was cut but restored after payment of half of owed amount, while half of the rest was to be paid at the start of this month, which was not paid.
