Summary CJ Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that he is not satisfied with performance of FIA.
He said therefore the NICL case should be referred to the National Accountability Bureau.A three-member bench of the Supreme Court conducted hearing of the NICL corruption case. Chief Justice said that he was not satisfied with the performance of the performance of the FIA.While consulting the Attorney General, he said, “How Moonis Elahi was excluded despite being put on the ECL. Wouldn’t like you to proceed the case.”The Chief Justice said that that it seemed to be appropriate to refer the case to the NAB for further inquiry. Hearing of the aforesaid case would continue tomorrow.
