Summary A police inspector filed a petition against disgusting behaviour of DIG and SP CIA in the LHC.
Inspector Hamid Mehmood moved a writ petition in the court and said that being an in-charge investigation, he arrested some killers allegedly involved in a murder case. Later, it was revealed that accused were relatives of the DIG Investigation and ultimately I was removed from conducting an inquiry into the matter, he said.The petitioner also said that DIG Ali Amir Malik and the SP CIA Umer Wirk called me to their room and used abusive language before their relatives. They also threatened to kill me and my family members. The petitioner requested the court to provide him security and justice.Justice Qasim accepted the petition for hearing and ordered the DIG and the SP CIA to refrain from harassing Inspector Hamid Mahmood and his family.The court also remarked that police officers should treat their subordinates leniently; otherwise, the court would not remain silent.
