Summary Pakistan Railways workers protested on city railway station and staged a sit-in on Chandriger road.
Railway workers protested against Federal Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahmad Bilour non-payment of salaries and pensions.Addressing to protesters, president workers union Manzoor Ahmad Razi said that train is a cheap and safe mean of transportation of poor and they started movement to protect this system. Razi vowed to hold protest rallies from Karachi to Peshawar.He said that if Pakistan Railways would be handed over to railway workers they will make it profitable. Afterward, workers staged a protest rally and sit-in due to which II Chandriger road blocked.
