Summary Dengue continues to take lives in Lahore while eight more patients have died from the virus.

Eight patients of dengue in different hospital including 60-year-old Musarat of Krishan Nagar, 65-year-old Abdul Sattar of Bank Stop, 70-year-old Ijaz Ahmed of Johar Town, 35-year-old Shaheen, 55-year-old Shabir and 45-year-old Muhammad Yusuf of Gujranwala also lost the battle of life.Dengue cases are increasing in Faisalabad where 25 more people were shifted to different hospitals while 4 people have died due to dengue fever.Meanwhile, number of dengue patients has reached 450 in Nishtar Hospital and DHQ Multan. Moreover, 272 dengue fever cases have been confirmed in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa out of which 62 patients are under treatment in different hospitals.On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered to strictly monitor the training workshops launched for doctors and nurses to control the dengue. The CM also ordered to submit a report regarding used tyres and the steps have been taken by the private schools against dengue.
