Summary Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif announced a compensation of Rs 5 lac for kin of those who died of dengue.
It is decided in meeting headed by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif that Punjab government will provide financial support to all those relatives whose dear ones have lost their lives due to dengue fever.Shahbaz Sharif said that most of people who died of dengue were the only provider of livelihood to their family; therefore, Punjab government has decided to give Rs 5 lac to the relatives of each of the dengue victim.Punjab government, in this connection, has directed the health department to provide the record of all the victims expired due to dengue fever in order to provide compensation money to all the relatives of dengue victims.The CM also has directed all the professors and consultants to visit hospitals regularly in the evening.
