Peoples Peace Committees activity report submitted

According to report, compiled by SSP South Naeem Sheikh and Divisional Intelligence Branch, said that the Peoples Peace Committee was involved in killing and extortion of money cases, however, no evidence was found of its involvement in links with any terrorist organisation.The reports said that 11 of Peoples Peace Committee members are wanted in 212 cases of murder, attempted murder, drug peddling, police encounters and other heinous crimes.Meanwhile, two of its members, Jabbar alias Jeengu and Raheem alias Darinda, are proclaimed offenders.The report further said that Peoples Peace Committee is a non-political organisation whose primary objective is to protect the rights of residents of Liary and Balochs. The names of 13 members and 12 workers of the Peoples Peace Committee are also mentioned in the report.
