Summary Pakistani security forces repulsed a cross-border raid from Afghanistan and killed 15 militants.
15 terrorist were killed when security forces engaged them while they were attempting to enter into Pakistani territory. The Afghan terrorists opened fire on security forces and tried to intrude into the Pakistani territory in the Krakar Jabba area of Dir Bala near Pak-Afghan border. During the gunfight, 15 terrorists were killed while one security personnel was martyred. Two other troops were injured.It is the seventh attack on security forces from across the border in Dir Bala area.Pakistan has already warned Kabul over the increasing number of cross-border raids by militants finding refuge in safe havens in the bordering areas in Afghanistan. NATO and Afghan forces abandoned the border areas despite Pakistan’s strong reservations.
