Summary Rehman Malik has called an inquiry into the killing of two political workers in Karachi.
The Federal Interior Minister has called a joint investigation report within two days. The two workers of a political party were shot dead in Sachal Goth area of Karachi.According to police, some unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on the office of a political party in Bilawal Shah Noorani Goth area of Sachal Goth and killed two people and injuring one. Both the dead were workers of a political party.Panic gripped the area after the incidents and markets were closed. Meanwhile, Rangers conducted a raid in Qasba Colony area of Orangi Town and arrested three persons. Rangers also recovered arms from them. The arrested persons are said to be members of a political party. Rangers also conducted house-to-house search in the area.On the other hand, Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has also called a probe and declared the murders a conspiracy. He said some elements were growing uneasy with the PPP’s politics of reconciliation to restore peace in the port city.
