Summary Heath experts have said that dengue epidemic should be declared a natural calamity.
A meeting of National Epidemic Management Cell was held to review the dengue situation across the country. The dengue is deadlier than other diseases, therefore it should be declared a natural calamity, experts said.NEMC Chief Dr Shoukat said if the government had considered local experts proposal, there would have been no need to seek help from Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
