Khar meets Munter, Liu Jian to discuss bilateral ties

Both the leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional situation and agreed to work together for strengthening Pak-US cooperation and the mutual coordination on regional issues. They vowed to work to reduce Pak-US tension and to improve ties.Hina Rabbani Khar also met with Chinese ambassador Liu Jian and exchanged views on regional and international situation and the matters of mutual interest. The ambassador informed the minister that the the Chinese government had decided to give $ 5 million in cash for flood affected people of Pakistan.Khar appreciated China’s timely assistance and said it was a testimony to the time-tested friendship between the two countries.
