SC verdict on Karachi unrest be implemented: Nisar

Talking to the media, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that Army reaction was only solution to end drone attacks. The government is responsible to maintain law and order in the city as the Supreme Court has announced its verdict and the opposition will seek report on the situation in the light of the SC’s decision, he added.He stated that the SC’s suo moto and accountability of political parties help maintain peace in the city. Nisar urged the government to take steps to maintain peace across the country.Ch also welcomed the COAS’s statement that no more operation would be conducted. He said that the government could not evolve any strategy against drone attacks but now all the decisions would be made in country’s interest.
