Summary Foreign Minister has said CIA created Haqqani network and CIA connects to several terror outfits.

Hina Rabbani Khar also warned the US against making Pakistan scapegoat for its own failures. She said if the US persisted with the blame game, Pakistan would be left with no choice but to use its other options. Pakistan is not alone, the whole world stands by Pakistan, she added. In an interview with Dunya News in New York, Ms Khar said the US hasn’t come forward with any evidence of alleged Pakistani link to the Haqqanis, a network she said was created by the CIA. If the US says Pakistan has links to the Haqqanis without evidence, it can be said that the CIA has links to terror organisations worldwide, she added. The foreign minister said that allies don’t send out messages and intimidate through a media campaign. “This has not been Pakistan’s policy. If Pakistan’s patience is tested beyond limits, Pakistan too would be forced to look out for other options. Our patience should not be tested beyond a certain point,” she added.Hina Rabbani Khar said Pakistan’s doors are always open for talks and cooperation, but this shouldn’t be taken as a weakness. “No one should try to find a scapegoat. We have said time and again that the regional situation is very delicate. Accusatory statements are shutting the doors on talks.”She also said that Pakistan has earned popular support for the war on terror by offering countless sacrifices. The US accusations are only eroding the popular support, she warned. The warning came as a top US military commander was in Pakistan for talks with the army chief at a time of intense strain between the two countries. The US Embassy said Gen James Mattis, head of US Central Command, arrived in Pakistan late Friday, and that he will meet the army chief, Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.Ties between Islamabad and Washington are in crisis after American officials stepped up accusations that Pakistans Inter Services Intelligence was aiding insurgents in neighboring Afghanistan, including those who took part in an attack on the US Embassy last week in Kabul.
