Summary Power Shortfall in the country has decreased to 3,801MW.
The current loadshedding is 6-8 hours in the cities and 12-14 hours in the villages.According to the PEPCO spokesperson, decrease in power shortfall has been recorded in the country. The power production in the country last day was 13,393MW while the power demand was 17,194MW.He further told that the electricity production from various sources was as follows: Hyderal production 6,416MW, thermal production 1,416MW, IPPs 5,398MW, and rental 163MW. 720MW electricity was provided to Karachi.
