Summary The Abbottabad Commission head has exhorted all to come forward and record witnesses and evidence.

The commission led by Justice (r) Javed Iqbal, commission chairman, visited the Osama bin Laden (OBL) compound in Abbottabad.Talking to the media, Justice (r) Javed Iqbal said that the visit was scheduled for three days. However, he added, that over 500 people want to record their statements. He said all who have something credible and concrete to provide to the commission, will be listen to. He said it is not possible to give a timeframe on the final report of the Commission.The members who visited were former ambassador Ashraf Jehangir Qazi, Lt-General (r) Nadeem Ahmed and former IG KPK Abbas Khan.Justice (r) Javed said that the Commission earlier visited Ghazi base and Kala Dhaka.The other day, the commission was told that on learning about the US operation to get the al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) immediately took adequate operational measures as per the standard operating procedure (SOP) and PAF aircraft continued their presence in Abbottabad till early morning.
