Summary PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif has said it is time to save Pakistan, not politics.
Addressing a ceremony of yellow cab balloting in Lahore, Nawaz said that he would support those who were to save the country, adding that the way the country is being governed isn’t a proper way. “I was very optimistic about the PPP-led government but it disappointed me,” Nawaz said.He stated that the government was making alliances with other political parties to conceal its corruption and failure. The PML-N chief said that if courts awarded sentence to any criminal, President Asif Ali Zardari would forgiven him only to save his government. He maintained that the country was facing a severe crisis but the president was busy pardoning the convicted ministers at the cost of the national resources, multiplying problems for the masses. He said Amin Fahim admitted to indulging in corruption, but remains to be member of the parliament and a minister. Nawaz said that due to mismanagement by the government, all patriots are baffled. “The provinces are in a state of chaos.” He urged the nation to support the PML-N and assured that no one could harm their interests and the country in the presence of his party. He stressed the dignity of labour and cited example of his father who worked hard but his asserts were transiently seized by governments in the past. He said that Musharraf snatched Rs 130 million from Hamza Shahbaz and also occupied his Model Town house for eight years.
